Employment Standards

Suteki Group is committed to supporting employees with disabilities by providing reasonable accommodations, including:

  • Informing employees about revisions or updates to company policies or processes related to accessibility and accommodation.

  • Providing accessible formats and communication supports upon request from employees with disabilities.

  • Developing and documenting individual accommodation plans for employees with disabilities upon request.

  • Considering the accessibility needs of employees with disabilities when developing performance management tools or providing career development opportunities.

  • Creating tailored workplace emergency response plans for employees with disabilities, as required or requested.

  • Establishing return-to-work processes for employees absent due to a disability and requiring accommodations to resume work.

Training
Suteki ensures that all employees, agents, and contractors involved in recruitment, selection, and employee management are trained on Alberta accessibility standards and relevant human rights legislation related to persons with disabilities. Training records will be maintained, and employees, agents, and contractors will be retrained if there are any changes to policies or procedures.

Information and Communication
Suteki is committed to providing accessible formats and communication supports for persons with disabilities, as quickly as practicable and at no additional cost. We will consider the individual’s accessibility needs when fulfilling such requests.

Suteki’s website conforms to the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA.

Customer Service
Suteki ensures all employees, agents, and contractors are trained in accessible customer service and relevant Alberta accessibility standards, including:

  • Use of assistive devices that may be employed by customers/clients with disabilities.

  • Welcoming service animals accompanying persons with disabilities, except in areas where this poses a health and safety risk. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made.

  • Permitting support persons to accompany individuals with disabilities on company premises.

Notice of Temporary Service Disruption
In the event of temporary disruptions to facilities or services, Suteki will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice. Notifications will include details about the disrupted service, the reason for disruption, anticipated duration, and available alternative options.

Accessible Emergency Information for People with Disabilities
Suteki ensures that employees are aware of the company’s Emergency Response Plan. Employees requiring accommodations during emergencies should inform us of their needs. Individualized emergency response plans will be provided as soon as practicable and reviewed as necessary.

Feedback Process
Suteki provides employees and clients the opportunity to offer feedback on its accessibility standards.

If the individual providing feedback wishes to be contacted, they must include their name and contact information. Accessible feedback formats and alternate options are available upon request.
